Web 2.0 is basically a much more advanced version of the internet. It is almost completely user-edited and written. For example, in Wikipedia, users write and edit the articles all by themselves. In Google, the most visited websites show up first. eBay and Craigslist are user-based in that the website admins have almost nothing to do with what's being sold, especially in Craigslist. Users share files in programs like μTorrent, where they leech (download) programs, and then seed (share) them to other users.
The internet would be nothing without it's people. Not just the readers and people who play games; those people are useless. But the programmers, editors, and people who want to share their knowledge are extremely valuable to the web.
